The Man Behind The Bear

I founded The Bear Gardener around five years ago, after starting my career with a talented landscape designer. Also having spent many years gardening myself, I know the pleasures that an outdoor living space can bring to someone and enhance their wellbeing.

This drove my desire and passion to help people create their own little piece of outdoor heaven, often in an urban environment.

I pride myself on providing my clients with a friendly and knowledgeable service in landscape construction and maintenance. I work with many of my clients on an ongoing basis to develop their gardens over the years as it grows.

I understand different people’s needs and desires for a garden, and always strive to create a living space that excites you but is manageable in a busy world. For me, it is important to recognise how a garden should fit in with your lifestyle, as this will enhance the enjoyment and pleasure it will give you.

You don’t have to be an expert in horticulture to appreciate nature. I love sharing my passion and knowledge with those new to gardening to discover the delights that a beautiful garden or outdoor space can bring them.
